I recently installed halo 2 on my computer running windows 7. everything went well during the installation and the product key that I entered during the installation worked fine. Halo 2 Vista Error Message "invalid product key".

I bought Halo 2 for Vista last week. I installed, updated with the latest patch and connected with my Live account. When the program tries to download my Live profile it gave me the error "invalid product key". I contacted the seller on Amazon and told him my problem. He contacted Microsoft and verify that the product key was valid and he told me to reinstall and make sure that all software is up-to-date. I grabbed a spare hard drive and install a new copy of Vista and done all updates to Windows. Then I installed the latest drivers for video card, I installed Halo 2. I downloaded and installed the latest patch for Halo 2 and the last program of Windows Live. After all this (about 3 hours), I still get the same message. Anyone at Microsoft have a solution to this? I get the message after logging in to my live account inside Halo 2. I googled the question and it seems to be quite common, however, I have yet to see a fix. Help, please.

Halo 2 from Amazon product key does not work

I recently bought Halo 2 from Amazon, was able to install the game in a satisfactory manner by using the product key included in the CD case, but the key was rejected by Games for Windows Live. I asked Amazon for a replacement and had exactly the same problem with a different copy.

I bought a new copy of Halo 2 for windows. The program activated properly but Windows live says I have a key invalid product no. However there is a support forum for the mozilla firefox browser. If you continue to have problems to get the desktop software to work, please contact support Microsoft instead since it is their product.

How to find the original windows product key?

I think I need something that is not really possible, but I give it a go anyway. Some time ago, I bought a new ultrabook with preinstalled windows UW 7. I got this sticker on the back of my laptop with product key but who are off to a long time ago. The problem I have now is that I've recently updated to windows 10 and shortly after my HARD drive has failed. I replaced my HARD drive and reinstalled windows but product key to my victory 10 showed before is not valid as an activation key. I contacted Microsoft to see what my options are and they advised me that if I can provide key to windows 7, I had at the beginning, they can solve this problem for me. With other words original version you got with your machine is properly enabled. Product key belongs to this original version only and you cannot use it for activation if you want to install the version of the OS.
