Get the Error Message When you try to reinstall Vista: Windows cannot open the required file: E:\Sources\install.wim

I'm trying to reinstall windows vista for the following reasons:

1. I have SQL Server installed on my computer.  I deleted some files a long time ago and it screwed something and I couldn't reinstall.
2. I had partitioned my hard drive for vista half and half SuSE and I deleted who and when I did, I think I deleted another partition - my recovery partition (E:\?).
3. I need to clean my laptop.

When I try to start the installation of a disk and I put in my product key, I get the following error:

Windows cannot open the required file E:\Sources\cromwellpsi.com  The file does not exist.  Make suure all files required for installation are available, and restart the installation.  Error code: 0 x

Let me know if you have any ideas how I can fix it.  My next step was to recreate this E directory and download the cromwellpsi.com file and re start the installation.  I could not find the file cromwellpsi.com well.

Hi Rob,

I checked the link you provided.  What you downloaded was just the Vista recovery environment.  You cannot actually re - install Vista with that and if you blew your recovery partition unfortunately you may be out of luck.  You blew your partition containing Vista runs so the SFC will be of no help either.  I wish I had better news for you, but I don't see any way o get on without a Vista DVD.  I have good news for you if.  When you get your HP drive if you have problems with the installation, we will be able to help you with that.

Cannot open the secondary an executable after upgrade

I have a request that I had built in an executable in LV open successfully several sub-panels using calls to the VI server. I use the cromwellpsi.com property to programmatically determine if the application runs in the system development or as an executable file. In both cases, I first use the cromwellpsi.com Application open to get a reference to the instance of localhost, then I pass this reference to the Open cromwellpsi.com VI, as well as the path of the VI. In the case of development system, I pass the absolute path to the VI to be opened in secondary school; in the executable file, I just pass the name of VI. Since each Secondary VI is included in the executable version (in the.) EXE file; always included), RTE has never had any problems finding files VI and by opening the sub-panels.

However, after the LV, my executable update can't find the screw more. I checked they are all designated as "Still included" in the specification to build, and I rebuilt the executable several times, trying different possible paths (absolute and relative) to try to coax the RTE to find the necessary files. But everything I try it, still no luck. I'm still stuck with error 7 - file not found.

Are there known issues with calls to the server LV and VI in the executables? Does anyone have any ideas as to what could have changed that a running executable to screw would build between versions and ? I would be very happy to help.

P20: cannot use the DVD - RAM drive after installing a trial software

Hi members,

I am using Toshiba satellite P20 - model - load with windows xp prof - SP2. I wasn't able to use the software from burning DVDs successfully, so I tried to install cyberlink Power2Go software (trial ver) in there and ended up with "No. DVD RAM DRIVE APPEAR" in my computer. I could see the device dvd - ram with a yellow exclamation point in Device Manager. (the drive model is MAST * A DVD-RAM UJ). I tried to update the driver for it, no use. No idea how to recover the original driver and make it available for use dvd - ram drive? waiting for your valuable solution.

The easiest way is to use the system restore option if you have created a restore point before you have had an experience with the trial version of Power2Go. If this is not the case, check if there is a system restore point has done in recent days.

So all this started because I tried to clean my computer to give to a friend. I tried refomatting the hard drive, but something was wrong here. After that, when I turn on the computer I get a black screen with message Bootmgr missing. I read a little inside and saw that I could download a Windows Vista recovery disk because my computer did not come with one.
After that I downloaded and burned the ISO image to a CD, things started looking better. I got to the screen when you select the language and keyboard. Then install windows screen. My options there were 'Install now' and 'repair your computer '. When I try to install, I put in my product key that seems fine. The next message I get is "Windows cannot open the required file E:\Sources\cromwellpsi.com The file does not exist. Make sure all files required for installation are available, and restart the installation. "Error code: 0 x

This isn't an installation disc. It's a record of startup repair!
You use the repair disk option, not Install.

How to get Vista recovery Media and/or to use the Vista recovery Partition on your computer.

There is no Vista free download legal available.

Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.

There are 2 disks of Vista: one for bit operating system, and one for bit operating system.

If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu

3. What is the exact error that appears when you try to start?
4. at what point of the installation you get the error message?

After researching the error 0xD code is essentially due to file corruption and a problem with the drive itself.

First check if you have scratches or dust on the disc and clean the surface and try again.

To check if the disk is wrong, you will need to copy the contents of the DVD to the hard drive and try to install using that.
